Wondering if I can just get away with a carb clean. I brought home a 60 hp Johnson, 1986. Hasn’t run in years. Good compression. Carbs were completely dry except for the bottom one which was full of oil. No gum or varnish that I can see. The only thing I know it was a really acrid smell.
Just wondering if I should soak/clean and try to run or do a full rebuild while they’re off?
Definitely needs all the fuel lines replaced. They were brittle and garbage
