If you are talking about a boat wash/boat soap, I dont know of any that would harm the water. Most hull cleaners and some brightwork cleaners have acids and caustic ingredients. Anything that says boat soap should be fine. Make sure to use a soft brush on your gelcoat and a hard on your non-skid.
