Cleaning boat to install name sticker.

Hey everyone,

Just wondering what is the best thing to clean the boat with so I can install my name stickers? Should I use windex or should I just wash with soap and water, then install? Also, if the boat has a bit of oxidation on it, should I just use my "cleaner wax" on it, then install the sticker or would the wax make the sticker not stick so well?

In the spot your actually putting your stickers, I'd use some liquid dish soap and some elbow greese to get off any wax thats there. For your entire boat if the oxidation is slight, a cleaner wax will work good for you. I use 3m's cleaner wax and a 6" orbital buffer to put it on and take it off, works good for me.
