Hello,
I have a 1994 Four Winns Horizon 180, with a 5.0 OMC Cobra. I just had a rebuilt carb, brand new Starter, and a brand new Fuel Pump. Unfortunately the boat had sat out in the elements for about 2 years prior to me taking ownership of this boat.

The engine runs great for about 3-4 hours, but after that starts stalling out on me. The shop seems to think there is debris in the fuel tank and wants to charge me ridiculous amount of money to remove the fuel tank and clean out any debris.

My Question...Is there any kind of something I can put in the fuel tank to help break down/clean the debris in the fuel tank??

if its not to much of a pain in the butt, pump it out and clean it, or go for the filters as bondo suggests.
