ok got the new boat this spring. nice rec bow rider. thinking about using it for some fishing but was wondering how you clean the mess from fishing off the interior of the boat?
generally speaking I fish out of canoes or jon boats but thought why not use the new one for it.

problem is fishing brings it's own level of mess. dirt from worms, blood from fish not to mention smells etc. want to ensure that when I take friends out the next time they don't have to "endure" the previous fishing trip.

I assume I could just hose everything out but is there anything to look out for or good products to use?

My first boat was a cubby cabin. Same issue.
I fish saltwater and at the time I did a lot of chumming. Ground up fish, blood and guts getting ladled off the side of the boat didnt play well with carpet and upholstery.

The one thing that did help was to buy a and use a Magma bait and filet mate table. Installed a raw water wash down pump to clean up as needed thruout the day. Eliminated a lot of work at the end of the day.

As as far as cleaning products, I use Orpine wash and wax to clean the decks and fish boxes after each trip. It does a heck of a job removing the last fishing trip from the boat

Use artificial bait and never catch anything ... then you don't have to worry about a mess!
