Hello folks,
Can I take apart the heat exchanger on my 470 and drop it in a Muriatic acid and water solution to clean it out? Then reassemble it with new gaskets. I've done motorcycle fuel tanks and cast iron intakes and exhaust manifolds (automotive) this way? Or is the Radiator / Machine shop hot tank a better idea? I'm going over this engine / drive with a fine tooth comb, I don't know if it needs it, but I also don't know if it has ever been done.
