Cleaning IAC

Hello folks, I have read that you can clean a sticky IAC, how do I do this? I took mine off the manifold and I can see a rubber like plunger in the small hole, do I just squirt WD-40 in it and activate it?

I soak the plunger part in Sea Foam.
