Next pictures are uncleaned with a few spot clean areas. How do I clean it? The are is now smooth to the touch after cleaning it. If I need not get it looking better im fine with it. But, I do want to take care of my new boat.2012-04-09_18-46-17_373.jpg2012-04-09_18-46-37_473.jpg2012-04-09_18-47-13_145.jpg

Gonna change that prop, right?

Muriatic acid or oxyalic acid would help remove stains, btw.

You got it. Prop is going to go. I use slimmy Grimmy before which is Muriatic acid i believe. Think it will penetrate that stain? Also, I plan on just cleaning the bottom each year. No wax or paint. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.... Again

Try Iron Out. You will find it at Home Depot in the plumbing section. It worked well on the gelcoat stains my 29'er got last summer.

Every little scratch, dent, ding etc affects performance, but on small stuff such as what you have it is negligible. It goes with out saying, the more you have the more fuel you will burn and the slower you will go.

Actually a slightly rough surface is faster than a smooth one.
Doesn't seem to make sense, but it's true.

Ideally you would have a perfect smooth surface and then rough it up some (burnish). This breaks the surface tension and makes it faster.

True that, but in the OPs case he needs any growth off of it.
