Whats a good strong cleaner to clean the boat vinyl seats with that wont hurt them?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Good morning everyone!
Thanks for the recommendation southkogs, we really appreciate it!
When it comes to taking care of vinyl boat seats, it is just as important to protect as it is to clean. When you clean your vinyl seats, you first need to determine if you are dealing with surface stains or mildew below the surface. If you have issues with mildew, you will need to use a product that contains a fungicide or bleach as opposed to a cleaner such as our 303? Multi-Surface Cleaner that does not contain any biocides. A diluted bleach solution would work well, and there are various fungicide/mildewcides recommended by the community in other threads.
For stains and spots that are not mildew or mold related, our 303? Marine & Recreation Multi-Surface Cleaner is excellent at safely brightening and rejuvenating surfaces. If you're dealing with some tougher stains, we also have our 303? Marine & Recreation Spot Cleaner. It has advanced action to remove even the toughest stains and it is safe for all water-safe materials.
After you finish cleaning your cushions, we recommend that you treat them with a UV protectant like our 303? Marine & Recreation Aerospace Protectant to keep your vinyl seats safe from harmful sun rays. 303? Marine & Recreation Aerospace Protectant contains powerful UV blockers that prevent fading, cracking, and premature aging, restores lost luster and color, and dries to a natural matte finish.
