seems this has been touched on before, but here's my deal. I have an 86 ranger 373v with metal flake. It is very chalky and I know the only way to fix perfectly is to spray new gel coat.
Curious of results using a spray can of acrylic enamel to quickly add a layer of clear. Anyone have results? May not be perfect, but I'm tired of the dull, chalky look. I figure, worse case, I'll have to repeat or strip it back and do something else.
I'll wet sand, then wipe with something like denatured alcohol before spraying.
