Hi Guys,

I've been using Brightside paint to paint the top of the 16' Sanger I'm working on and I'm trying to get that ultra shine look. So far I've applied about 4 coats and it's still somewhat dull. Does anyone know if clearcoat is available for boats? Or if it's even usable? I have marine antiifungal paint on the bottom which I'm sure would be bad to clearcoat, but the top I'm thinking would be ok. Does anyone have any tips, ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: Clearcoat

search the web for something like
LPU uv clearcoat

you'll mostly likely find what you are looking for.

Re: Clearcoat

Brightside is a single stage polyurathane paint. Yes automotive clear coat will adhere to it. Go to your local auto paint store and ask for a compatible paint. You could even toss some pearl into a layer of it!
