Lately I've been hearing a very faint clicking sound coming from my engine. Maybe I just never noticed it but who knows. I'm having a hard time pinpointing it but I think I've got it narrowed down to the stator area. It sounds like some sort of tiny electrical charges.It is intermittent and happens randomly about 10 times per minute. Sounds like : click.....clickclick....click....clickclickclick , etc. Defenetely sounds electrical. Is a stator supposed to make this noise when it generates electricity? I just had the stator,trigger replaced two months ago. { I now have the red stator}.
