Clicking noise at start

1974 75hp chrysler. Tried turning the key and all i got was a constant clicking noise. i replaced the solonoid last season. The battery charge was at 2/3 My battery to low or bad connection somewhere. Or may starter going bad? Thanks<br /><br />Chris

Your batery being at 2/3 is probably too low to activate the starter.
