Wanting to know what movie it was that had a scene of Clint wearing metal body armor on his chest. He wore it under a blanket draped over his shoulders.

A Fistful of Dollars

Yep!

Just watched it last night :D

So what's your favorite line from the ol' spaghetti westerns?

Mine...

"I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. See, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now, if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it"

They don't apologize so Clint mows them down :D

I could never recite lines as good as that. But the outlaw josey wales is classic. I like when those scruffy looking guys sneak up on him in the thicket. and when the the boy says i got the gold right here paw. Oh and what about the missouri boat ride. Yes i had to watch a fistful of dollars last night. thanks

They were all "scruffy" looking and sweating like pigs. They must have smelled to high heaven.

Great flicks though!:)

Well,
I like Lee Van Cleef (the guy with the hawk nose) as much as Clint. He was a heck of a bad guy in "the good, the bad, and the ugly. I also liked "the rat" in that one. I liked "there are 2 kinds of people----those who have guns, and those who dig...." or, "Hey Blonde, you know what you are????......" or well, all of 'em. :)

Not sure if I would classify it as "body armor", if I remember right it was the top plate off an iron stove he had hung around his neck under the poncho!!

Those spaghetti westerns were great...very cool and well directed.
I've got a bunch on DVD including the pivotal 'Good, Bad and the Ugly'.
As for favorite phrases from Clint, it would have to be from a non-spaghetti western, but a western nonetheless...'The Outlaw Josey Wales'.
When confronted with a bounty hunter that was warned away earlier but returned and asked why he did come back after being given a chance to leave....he says "well a guy has gotta make a living"...to which Clint replies "Dying ain't much of a livin' boy".
Love those flics.
