clinton j-9 possible trade

I have a clinton j-9 with original gas tank and manuals,would like a ballpark figure on its value.Runs good, also what is its real world horse power output.A fellow wants to trade me a bucket pump for it which he values at 150.00 bucks, thanks just curious. Fellow sais theyre not worth much.

The Clintons generally don't draw much collector interest, nor do they seem to draw much interest from folks looking for a running older motor for service use - too loud and buzzy for most folks. Compared to a similar Johnrude 3-5hp of the era, they're quite crude. If you can get $150 worth of value out of it, go for it!!<br />- Scott
