My reference only goes to 72.Could the number be <br />J700 that would be 7 hp built in 70-72.Where my<br />reference stops.J9 indicates 5 hp.<br /> Built from 60-68.Unfortunately my info doesnt<br /> specify the exact year.J9 uses J12C plug at<br /> .025. Points at .020 for all so equipped.<br /> J700 uses CJ8 plug (number may be superseded now)<br />Fuel mix is 4 oz per gallon of TCW3 rated oil.<br /> Some believe you should use chainsaw oil<br />because it is air cooled My reference says<br />outboard oil.<br /> Power head is air cooled with a water cooled<br />exhaust leg.Clinton parts are supposed to be<br />available at this number:563-652-2411.
