Re: Clorox and Motor oil in fuel

well. Long story short. I'm disgusted. My son went and started the boat last week and ran it in the yard about 15 minutes. BEFORE I got a chance to get back into town and take it in. And well, just sitting there now. I figure the stuff had already run through it, so may as well get ready for a motor repair bill??

It hasn't died yet, right? Unless it fails violently, and/or you run her to destruction, it's not going to cost anything more significant if you have them tear into it now or after you try and see if she just makes it through and it didn't work out. Since you are fooked either way, and the only way you'll possibly get away with it is to run her, then here is what I would do. But I am a little bit of a risk taker too, so don't listen to me. But if you were kinda stupid and did want to actually see if a little Clorox is not worth hari kari . . . then . . . Whatever is left in there, get it out now, out of any hoses too. Then fill her and add some sea foam or some other kind of mouse milk fuel stuff and go run her around in circles until you go through two tanks, and then enjoy your season. If she smokes a little in the beginning, so what? If she shakes and bangs and biotches and moans . . . put her on the trailer and head to the dealer.

And, like Dude, take out your flippin' battery until you get control of your neighborhood. Or better yet, just hitch it up and take it wherever you go until you get this handled . . . :p :p  :D
