Has anyone used CLR to clean off there fiberglass boat? I have had a few people tell me it works well, but am not sure.. I know toilet bowl cleaner works, but a lot of scrubbing....Does CLR work any better?

Thanks.

Didn't work any better/worse for me than other stuff plus a real hard scrubbing.

Toilet bowl cleaner works great if you let it sit-No scrubbing. Better would be On/Off hull cleaner.

Tried CLR to remove some sprinkler hard water deposits. It didnt damage the finish but the results were less than spectacular.

I've used it to remove a thick layer of hard water deposits on a hull that sat mostly docked. Worked well, though needed a lot of elbow grease afterward. Maguires works well after that...

Theres a product called gel-gloss that works great. Comes in a pink can and is usually in the cleaning supply isle. I think they even make a marine formulation.
