OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer.

I still think you have not removed the correct bolts & nuts. Any bolt going down, other than the 2 in the forward rubber pan mounts, is not holding the powerhead.

Of course it is possible you might have all the fasteners out and that it may be just the gasket sticking, especially if somebody put some really stickum cement on it. If that is the case, a bit of scientific pry may be required. Just make sure you don't pry against something breakable.

Well, I've gotten them apart! Turns out there were two bolts in the rear I WAS missing. You were right on the money, Dhadley and FR. Thanks for all the help and patience!!

I wish I'd gotten in on here before doing the damage to my crankcase. I hope that I'm able to find a machine shop that can fix that screw up for me.

I have more questions, but I'll let this thread die now. Thanks again everyone for the input.
