I have a CMC power trim with an evinrude 70hp mounted. I have the motor as high as it will mount. I feel like I need the motor raised another 2-3 ". Is there any thing that I can instal between the motor and CMC so I can raise motor further?
The cavitation plate is couple inches below bottom of boat.

Thanks for any suggestions.

If anything, you want to put something between the transom and CMC. Extending the motor further back off the CMC will cause problems and put extra strain on the CMC.

Why is the motor still below the bottom? Long shaft motor on a short transom? The longer the setback means the higher the motor has to be.

You are going to need a jackplate to do what you want to do. Make sure your transom is in great shape because there will be more setback to the motor. More set-back is more stress on the transom. A T-H marine HI-Jacker fixed jackplate should do the trick and relatively inexpensive.

It may take more than just a jackplate. The transom may need to be rebuilt with a higher lift too. The more the motor is lifted with a jackplate and the CMC unit, the more stress is placed on the top of the transom.

The T-H is designed for that issue converting a longshaft motor to fit on a shortshaft transom. It is just 2 pieces of channel aluminum
