Ive heard of this for bigger vessels, but is this something worth considering for a 15K boat?
The boat in question is a 94' 2655. The sellers name is Larry, heres the description.

$21,000 or best offer. I've had this boat since 2001. It is attractive, fast and dependable. It has the following features:
30' galvanized Caulkins trailer /
Hot and Cold pressure water, with shower /
Rear deck washdown hose (hot and cold)/
New U-joints, gimbal bearing and boots in outdrive /
New exterior upolstry / New propeller /
17" LCD TV/DVD with hidden wiring and digital antenna (reception clear as cable) /
Nice new stereo/cd player /
1200 watt hidden inverter (all you see is a wall outlet with a rocker switch) /
New manifolds, risers and engine two years ago (Waterhouse Motors) /
New alternator /
New Starter /
New power steering pump /
New water pump for cabin water system /
Queen sized rear berth /
Doube forward v-berth /
110-12 volt refrigerator /
2 burner electric/alcohal stove /
2 new bilge pumps /
Shore power with cord /
Macromater toilet with holding tank /
Fish finder /
Adult and children's life jackets.
Its interesting to me, it has the potential for a horror story or a great partnership.
His ad started out at 24K a month ago (I know).
Does this seem overpriced even at 15K . One thing NOT stated in the ad is, its a 5.0L not a 5.7... big difference or not? He said we were going 28mph with 3 adults and 2 kids on it today.
Im really on the fence here. Another boat I liked yesterday was a '80 2750 with a fresh rebuilt volvo/penta and a trailer for $8500
