What about using fogging oil? Instructions didn't indicate that it was bad for rubber (plug wires etc..)and it clearly stated on the bottle that it was suitable for internal and external use. The quote below isn't from my brand but the gist is the same.<br /><br /><br />"fogging oil is a blend of corrosion inhibiting additives designed to coat engine components during engine storage"<br /><br />Sure hope I don't need an engine shampoo, the boat is wrapped up as tight as a bug in a rug for our lovely Canadian winters.
