cobalt 255 (2005) trim tabs questio

Hi there..

My brother has bought a Cobalt 255 with Volvo's 8.1 engine and is thinking about installing trim tabs to the boat.

The question is that which tabs he should buy? Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations of which make or model to use?

The local dealer here is not too keen on helping out since the boat was prviately imported from US.

Bennett Trim Tabs make a good product.

It will give you all the info you need and outline what size tab you need for the size boat you have.

Thanks for the answer. I'll make sure that he will browse through it..

Are Bennets the brand that are installed to Cobalt boats as OEM or is there some other brand used by the manufacturer? (he wants to keep the boat up to "factory specs")

I dont know if Bennett is the OEM supplier for tabs for cobalt. But if they are not then they should be. Bennett is the best there is
