In the local paper here, on Monday June 23rd, 2008 it says:
That on May 23re, 2008, Cobalt boats laid off 160 employees. AND that on Friday June 20th, 2008 they laid off 100 more employees.
"The boat market is pretty soft right now," CEO Paxson St. Clair said.
The company is building six boats a day. The 40 year old company builds luxuary fiberglass boats 20 to 30 feet in length.
