If yours is like the one in the youtube vid it's completely normal....mine has always done that...at idle on the water hose almost all of the water comes out of the area under the gimble housing by the anode...the exhaust bellows have slits that lets the water come out there at idle...at higher speeds it comes out the prop....

Looks like everyone else answered, but I decided to put the boat on the muffs tonight anyway.

Just like everyone said: mine does exactly the same thing!

Comes out just below the gimbel and out through the same spot on the drive. Thought I would include a picture just for the heck of it.. Sounds like you are good to go!!
