It's been an interesting past couple of days as I tackled my bow snap cover. This is my second sewing project. The first was an armrest on my truck which didn't turn out nice enough to talk about. I think this turned out great! I used Top Gun Caribean Blue canvas. It's pretty tight right now and I'm hoping it loosens up a bit with time. Next project is to take on the rest of the cover.

Can you explain the steps you did up to and including the snaps?

What type of installation Snap tool?

I used my boats existing cover as a pattern. I removed all the buttons using a drill and removed what was left of the old thread. I used a soap pencil to trace the old pattern and cut it out and followed the same stitching pattern as well. I used seam stick to hold all of the seams and sewed with my wife's standard sewinnmachine. Then I centered the pattern onto the boat and started marking one button at a time. To install I bought a leather hole punch and a snap kit which has a holder and a punch for installing the buttons. Eventually I felt comfortable enough to install the remaining buttons and was done. I watched a lot of videos on the entire process on YouTube.
