Hey experts,
here we are in the middle of a southern winter and I have a 98 Johnson 150 Ficht with a code 28 coming up, the service manual says a faulty gear shift switch- I understand why it is there but I'm thinking 1) the gears are shifting smoothly but occassionally the engine cuts out 2) it's to do with cold weather and I've squirted it with WD40. The next step is to replace it but is that necessary? Maybe I should wait until warmer weather and see if it still plays up?
