I have a 1971 55HP chrysler. As you can read my other threads, I am dead. I just removed the flywheel and noticed one of the pads next to coil, that rub on cam is not touching, not even close. Could this cause an engine not to start?
Yep Frank is right. I just learned all that from all the vary knowledgeable guys on this sight. change the pad ,but it has nothing to do with starting. Check spark, compression, condensers, points ,coils.
Yea these guys are on the top of there game. But according to Frank it does. To much oil and it can foul points. Thanks, but you say check this, that, this, that, and this. How?
Thank YouClick on my old thread "Stuck on land" . You will find everything on how to check spark, coils all of it.
