coil question ??

checked spark on powerhead i rebuilt 1983 evinrude 175 new packs and stator coils two are new and the rest off of parts motor 5 of six fired
set my wide opem timeing .number one fired good the bad coil is on number two so just for the hell of it i needed to check timeing on two to see witch was highest my timeing lite is flashing and got timeing reading that was correct but no fire from, coil maybe bad wire checked ground and amnephole
.connection why would a coil thats shows a reading on my timeing lite not have spark at the tester,thank you all

are these those coils from sierra that you have to assemble the wires?

no old evin coil will change it out ,may have bad end
