Coil question

Just wondering if there is a specific coil for a 1975 OMC 2.5l or if an auto coil will work. I know I need the ballast resistor etc. It is just the last piece of my motor to not be replaced and it is looking pretty sad (although I suspect it works fine).

If you have a ballast resistor in the ignition<br />circut now- an auto coil with - use with external<br />resistor printed on coil will work.<br /><br />If at present, you have no resistor in circut,<br />buy a coil with internal resistor marked on<br />side of coil.<br /><br />Two ways to go .
