coil, stator, cd, and tigger id question

Long story short I have the electronics from a force motor and I am trying to figure out what year they came off of. They were going to be the replacement electronics for a sport jet I have but it wasn't going to work out.

Now I'm looking to sell them but I'm trying to figure out what exactly what I have.

I have blue coils but no #'s on them. Is there a part # associated with them and what is it? From what I have been reading they are identified as blue coils and work with a number of years. I read the part # for all blue coils may be F684475. Is that correct?

I read something similar regarding the cd modules (proper name?).I can't find a part # on them either. Is a blue module interchangeable with all units that use a blue one? And a possible part # of F685301. Is that correct?

Trigger is a Prestolite. I can't find a part # on it. Where would the part # be located? The year of these parts I believe to be somewhere around 1990 and off of a 90 hp but I'm not sure.

Stator has a # of FCC3007C 428. Any ideas what motor and year etc that would work with? If so it may help me narrow this stuff down.

Yes, all blue coils are interchangeable.
And all blue cd modules are interchangeable.

I think some people has successfully intermixed blue and black, but I'm not sure.


Since the wiring still uses a terminal strip, it originally came from a 1991E model, or earlier. So it came off a 1990-1991E motor.

The coils and CDI modules will fit all Force 50-150Hp 1988-92 maybe with some modifications due to the connectors. Some have fastconnectors and some terminalstrip.
The stator and trigger will fit all three cyl. Force engines 1988-1992.

The stator will fit 85/125.
The setup according to the stator wiring color, is probably the early ones.87/88/89 somewhere along then89/90 they changed the wire colors on the stator.
The fast connectors were before 87.They were a BIG problem and were changed to the terminal strip.
I will fit 86-90s

Thank you to all of you that replied. I really appreciate the info. That helps clear a few things up. Hopefully this will help others in the future as well.
