A while back I unhook the wires to the coil and I cant figure how they go back. Its has points on this engine. I know that the wire from the distributor goes to the negative side of the coil. That leave 3 more wires which I dont really have a clue to which side they go. Thanks for any help.

guessing here, grey (tach) to - side, brown and a brown W/ stripe to + side
May be purple and purple W/ yellow stripe to + side of coil

Depends on the color coding of your engine, rather it's the newer BIA color codes, or the Pre BIA, I will give both.

Pre BIA, you should have 6 wires to the distributor.
On the - terminal of the coil.
1 Brown to distributor, 1 Brown to tachometer, 1 brown to shift interrupt switch
On the + terminal of the coil
White Resistor wire from ign switch, White to alternator, Tan to small outside terminal on starter.

On BIA, you should have 5 wires to the distributor.
1 Gray to distributor, 1 Gray to tachometer, 1 Gray to shift interrupt switch
On the + terminal of the coil
Purple Resistor wire from ign switch, Purple/yellow to small outside terminal on starter. Nothing to alternator.
