Cold start 1985 Evinrude 6 hp

I just got a 1985 6 hp Evinrude. Im having trouble getting it to start when cold. How much gas should I give it when starting cold with full choke? I just rebuilt the carb and it seems to run good once it gets going. Im just learning its idiosyncracies. Thank you.

Turn the tiller handle till it stops Bob. Should be a stop on it that only lets the throttle go so far while in neutral. Once it kicks, push the choke back in.

Thank you. I didnt get a manual with the motor. I appreciate the help.

If it dont start after 3or4 times re choke.
