Color of prop shaft housing Suzuki?

I will be replacing the slightly bent (0.008" runout) prop shaft on my Suzuki DF200A outboard and am thinking of also replacing the shaft housing. Suzuki charges roughly $90 more for a white housing that matches my exterior color than for a black one. Inasmuch as you can see at most a little bit of one end of the housing if you look straight down the prop hub, it seems to me a little frivolous to pay extra to get a color-matched housing.

Am I missing something?

it only matters if you care.
what others think does not matter unless you are someone that cares what others think

Your talking the bearing carrier? Color doest matter. If it bothers you, get a rattle can of white paint
