I just got done icing down all the coolers and loading the boat for in the morning. I will be on Lake Keowee if anyone is heading that way. AHHHH can't wait!!!!!!
Our weather was great, no problems with the boat or the tow vehicles. For the first time an actual day full of fun in the sun. My arms are still sore from tubing and water skiing. Got my friend to stand up on skis for the first time after only 2 tries.
Yeah we had a great time as well. The weather looked like it wasn't going to cooperate and we got a little shower on the way to the dock, but it held out (got a few drops while we were out). It was actually a nice change. It stayed cloudy all day but the temp was high enough to make it pleasant. We made a day of it and didn't leave the dock until about 10 PM (we were in the water at 10:30 AM). Boat ran great, met a few nice people hanging out by the waterfall, had some fantastic food, and we made it home in one piece = A GREAT DAY! Already looking forward to next weekend!
You guys go out this weekend as well? We made it out and did some skiing and hanging for a couple of hours before a birthday party that night. I almost got slalom skiing down. We did get stoped for not having a Lake Permit for Indiana, if I would have known I would of had it.
Oh yeah we had a great time! We had a feast out there - lobster, shrimp, steaks, 2 different pasta salads, and more. A little volleyball action, some horse shoes, and some great tunes. It doesn't get any better! This weekend is my fathers B-Day so it looks like his wish is to do it again - I definitely won't complain!
