So the million dollars question remains; how does one become a MOD? 6 figures bank account, fishing buddy, post count, political affiliation?

I belong to none of the above. Guess I will never be somebody :'(

No, techo, they haven't switched my mod privledges over to my username yet so I am logging in and out.:/

So why bother? So by my count, Kenny is one Jim is two
Rod is three, Ladyfish is projects to many and Jay is Iboats. Oh and JB would be six and SBN would be seven. Have I got it right yet? Spinner.

Do the admins have the same privledges as a mod? Can Brian or rneal77 delete messages, as well as the other 3? What can they do? Who is Bruno and what can he do?

Bruno and BV are the head cheese, they can do anything along with the other Admins. They do not need to come in under a mod, they have more power than we mods do.

I think it is good that the Mods can "come out". I am sort of new here but I think they do a good job and I think we should all thank them for keeping stuff straight and helping preserve this forum from which I have learned more about boats and motors in the past year than I did in my entire life! Thanks Mods... that should have earned me some brownie points...
