I have a chance to purchase a 1995 Chris Craft with a 305/Volvo IO, 19.5 ft. bowrider, very good shape with low hours. Looking for opinions on the combination, what to inspect, etc... I have been boating since 1978 with a Glaspar 165IL, Mercruiser outdrive. I am not familiar with volvo's at all. Such things as where is the shift cable located, availability of parts/mechanics, can you see the outdrive bellows, repair manuals available, where are the zerk fittings, known issues with this motor/drive, etc...
