Re: Commuting

I commute ~50 mins each way 4 days/week and ~20 mins each way 1 day/week. We live at the lake with ~120' of lakefront, so 0 min to the water. It does take 2 or 3 min for my boat lift to lower all the way...freakin' slow thing.

I get asked fairly regularly about my commute...it's worth every minute of it to be living on the water in my opinion.

Re: Commuting

On a normal day, my commute to work is 30 mins and home in 40. On a Friday during the summer, my commute home can be as long as 75 minutes. Commute to the river is 20 minutes.

I've considered launching the boat on Fridays to commute to work and riding my bike the 1 mile from the marina to the office to avoid sitting in traffic on the bridge on the way home. Only problem is that the closest marina wants $30/day to tie up from 8a-4p and my sanity isn't worth that much.

Re: Commuting

It takes me an hour and a half to get to work and an hour to get home. it takes me longer to drive through the park to get to the ramp then it takes to get to the park gate.
