Compression for a merc 3.5???

I'm going to look at a used merc 3.5 in an hour. My buddy lent me his compression tester but I don't know what it should be. Looks like an 80's model but I don't know the year.

Can anyone give me an idea of what psi to look for...quick! as I said I'm leaving in an hour, Thanks for any help...

Hope for 120 psi but since your pulling by hand you might be shooting for over 100 psi. See how the inside looks and thats a good hint for the condition.

Thank you.. Do you recognize the model in the picture(anyone)? I'm not even sure it's a short shaft. I put the whole thing off untill tomorrow. I'm trying to get my buddy who knows more than me about small engines to go with me. I tried to look at some manuals in the sticky thread but none of the links work. Someone(moderator) should fix the links or add some that work on that thread.
