There are many chip manufactures that make them they do change your paramiters for fuel delvery,timing,temp There are many ways you can change your performance other than the chip like re-programmers,computer software run through an adaptor cable to a laptop on the fly changes while driving also from ,Narrow to wide band O2 sensors have to programed they change fuel delivery to a more rich paraminiter Do a google search on performance chips there is tonnes of them or try hot rod dot com Depending on what your trying to accomplish you might have to think about pistons,cams,cranks,heads,intakes or ha ha BLOWERS
