Concerns about PCM ford engine

I winterized my PCM v8 ford in my ski nautique awhile back. I couldn't find the port block drain after about 1.5 hours of searching. I assumed it must have been unique and all drained out the starboard side. I just found out that there is a red hose coming out of the port side drain for the hot water for the shower (didn't know about that). If i drained both manifolds, the starboard side block and the transmission and power steering coolers, then refilled all of that back up with pink AF, will it dilute into that port side of the block and save me? thanks!

Howdy,

Maybe.

Sometimes anti-freeze will not make it to pooled water on the other side of the engine.

Your safest bet is to find all the drains and drain the block and other components completely.

I think you will need to open that hookup and drain the block. Plus that line must heat your water heater. That line should be drained and the heater plus the lines from the heater to the water pump and to the sink.

oops didnt see the first answer.

The drain plug is near the back of the block on the port side, near the front on starboard.
The hard part on the engines in ski boats is to get the engine level in order to drain the starboard side.

I will verify that draining one side of the 351w will NOT drain the other side. You need to have both drains opened or you will have half of a block full of water, not to mention the water heater.
