Re: Conecting Lanyard switch to my merc 1500
thanks for the reply's , i named the disibuter , the coil exuse me ,i did read :'' i need a wire coming out of the disibuter , i thought i need to interupt the ground somewhere at least i did read something like that (months ago and the forums are gone), conecting the Lanyard to the ignition was my idea, but i was reading old killswitch forums on i boats a few months ago (when it was stil freezing)and if i'm not mistaken i wil fry my switch box or something if i do ,and i can't find the forums back , i did save a schematic ,that i can't find back eighter on i boats , but can i trust this schematic ? is it aplyable fore my engine (ENGINE NR 4751477) in the past i wrote a 1150 it had to be 1500 and and it seems to be a 1977 model (i just forgot), is there anybody out there with this (still running) model engine and a lanyard conected to it ,please shed some light over here,chris , sport thanks a lot , i need to be very sure , here in Holland the parts are rare and much more expensive than in the United States , i just dont want to fry anything ,is there anybody out there with this (still running) model engine and a lanyard conected to it ,please shed some light over here
