Question for you guys...
I am reinstalling the Crankshaft Pulley which has 3 bolts around the outside and a larger bolt with a washer in the center. Service Manual #25 states:
Crankshaft Pulley Bolt (Cast Aluminum) 40 (lb-ft) 54 (Nm)
Crankshaft Pulley To Torsional Damper 35 (lb-ft) 42 (Nm)
So from what I understand the torque on the center bolt is important for the Harmonic balancer. Should the center bolt be 40 lb-ft and the 3 outside bolts 35 lb-ft?
Also, what is a good way to keep the engine from turning so I can get the correct torque? Thanks.
