i know what you mean bubbakat. we need something/someone else to be a source of frustration, eh :D ...

i wonder if lakeman is referring to the sodomy case. well, i guess its not called that, but i think it could be based on that premise. i think the situation was finally whined about enough to push it up to the highest courts - and make it unavoidable to be ignored. its a shame, now its gonna be a pain in everyones' a$$ ;)

A couple was touring the Capitol in Washington D.C., and the guide
pointed out a tall, distinguished-looking gentleman as the
congressional chaplain. The lady asked, "What does the chaplain do?
Does he pray for the Senate or House?" The guide answered, "No,
he gets up, looks at the Congress, then prays for the country!"

IT'S BAD BUSINESS
Can you imagine working at the following Company?
It has a little over 500 employees with the following statistics:

(29 have been accused of spousal abuse,
(7 have been arrested for fraud,
(19 have been accused of writing bad checks,
(117 have bankrupted at least two businesses,
(S have been arrested for assault.
(71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit,
(14 have been arrested on drug-related charges,
(8 have been arrested for shoplifting,
(21 are current defendants in lawsuits.
(In 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving.

Can you guess which organization this is? Give up?
It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that perpetually cranks out hundreds of new laws designed to keep the rest of us in line.
