So I'm rebuilding a 1959 Johnson 5.5. I'm in the process of reassembly right now and I'm annoyed with the flat head-style rod caps because I can't put a torque wrench on them to set the proper torque (60-66 inch pounds). I have them snugged up real good with a large flat head screwdriver assisted with a small wrench on it's square shank. How critical is this torque setting?
