Considering purchase of 1994 yamaha 50hp, any thing i should watch out for?

I'm just wondering if there are any issues i should look for, or any thing other than the usual stuff i should look for when i check this motor out. I've never owned anything other than OMC's but the price is right on this 50. I'm not going to have a chance to water test it, but will probably start it, and compression test it, shift through the gears and such. Is this motor prone to oil injection failure?

tiller or control? ..... we modify and race these motors and they last, so I would say they are tough, they are not likely to fail on the oil injection but you just need to check it and make sure it works properly .....
