So I have a 63 merc 500 the control box is all white there is a little spring activated button betwen the fast idle lever and the control box well the plastic button broke and the idle lever walks now can I get that piece or have to rig something up
This is probably what you are looking for, items 13-16.
I just make my own using a cut off shoulder pin. Knock out the Welch plug, put the pin in and check for right clearance to idle lever, grind off if necessary and install new welch plug.
