or
beep.beep.beep.beep.beep every second?
or

Do you run a VRO or premix?

Re: control alarm

beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! is an overheat alarm.
What were you doing when it went off and do you have a strong telltale stream?

Re: control alarm

From your description it sounds like a continuous alarm which is either over temperature or fuel restriction.

If it stopped as soon as you backed off the throttle then it will be a fuel restriction but if it continued for a while after backing off the throttle it will be an over temperature alarm.

Re: control alarm

The first time it went off like that I was putt-putting thru a shallow canal to reach the lake. Once I got to some clean water I trimmed up and shut it down. Was off for a while and once started again noise alarm. Second time was was out on the lake a few days later in about 4ft of water. Wasn't trimmed all the way down,,more like half way. Was at half throttle and it started again. Turned it off,,lifted it and let it sit for an hour. When I started it again it didn't sound an alarm. Hoping it is a simple fix,,like a fuel issue or thermostat. This is our first bass boat and would hate for it to be major and ruin our fishing season. Thank you in advance.
