control box help pics included

I have a 1980 35 hp johnson motor.isnt going into gear .I took the control box appart and there is a white plastic peace broke .I dont know what to call it but i need one.included are pics please help. Sorry for butting in here....was just wondering where a parts listing with eploded view for these controls could be located??? Nice to have in case I ever need parts.

i thin you go down to OMC parts...it in accessories look up controls for the year of the control..
