control cable connect at motor

1991 70TLRP. I have nothing to connect outer jacket of control cables to lower cowling. Got the yamaha book, pic's the same as on yamaha.com. Still nothing but the rubber gromanet. that's not going to hold them.

look on the yamaha parts site, look on the contol engine section, look at ref 41 part #6h3-48538-00-00 its held in place by part # 6h3-42738-00-0B on the bottom cowl page ref #17. looks like a tuning fork. goes in a slot on the bottom cowl and the top is retained by the clamp plate. the fork fits over the slots in the cable anchors at the crimped on metal part of the 3300 series type cables.

its hard to find as its on 2 different pages. kinda like finding the throttle roller for a V6 <br />or better the water restrictors for a 2.6 motor or the alarm isolation diode on the 87-89 models.<br />Hope it helped
